To those getting logs and so forth from the server, I do apologize if it hasn’t updated in the last few days as there was a problem with the webalizer script that I’ve just fixed (darned upgrades).
There is also a new backup script on the server which does fancy new things include pre and post exec.

Other people have midnight snacks. I have 5 am snacks (bagel, cream cheese, thinly sliced ham).
I spent about 3 hours cleaning up in here and found some really awesome E3 swag from this year and last year. I may or may not post pictures depending on the time I get as well as demand.
Reorganizing has also led me to find an APC backup battery (I wonder where it went to) that I will be installing. I think that there will probably be a bit of power switching going on so my IM may go down and up because

Long time no post.
This weekend was the Oktoberfest tournament put on by the local ultimate association: WODS (of which I am a board member).
It’s quite exciting as each year we have teams from around the country and across the border in the US come in and play for two solid days.
Weekend was of course very windy and that made play very exciting with people doing their best to get an upwind point as it’s very tough!
In any case, very fun weekend, lots of hype and excitement. Followed it up with

There’s a Logan’s Run movie remake coming out in 2006. I’m looking forward to it as it’s an excellent concept and well…I like the original.
As with all movies these days it will have a game associated with it. I’ve been going over what possible game would work well and I think I have an idea…I’ll write it up and put it in the file.

Last night I couldn’t sleep because every couple minutes something in my room would beep for less than a second and then all would be quiet again.
I tried to narrow in on where the beeping was coming from but I couldn’t track it down. Eventually the beeping was less frequent but louder. I still couldn’t track it down (there’s many many things in my room that beep). Any how, it was more an informational beep so I didn’t worry about it.
Right now I found the item that was beep, it was my Palm
