I just saw a trailer for “Dirty Pretty Things” starring Audrey Tautou and I am not impressed by how the marketting folks are representing the film.
It is not suspensful like they say…just watch the film…seriously.
Yargh, too mad for words.

Check this out

Wow, the ad for the vehicle mentioned in the title of this post was just watched by myself.
It’s pretty hilarious, let me paint the picture for you.
Mountain.
Mountain becomes a Volcano.
A whole lot of rocks start landing moments afterwards…waaaaaaay too slowly (but that’s not the issue at hand).
The Jeep lands (slowly) and starts driving around.
At this particular time in the ad a little white text shows up and says: ‘Do not attempt’.

Now what part should I not attempt? Driving on rocks…or…driving

I remember how when I was in school I thought that I was buying far too many CS books. It used to average more than $600 a term and it hurt a little bit.
Since September I have bought more than $2000 worth of CS related books…what the heck is going on? Turns out that I get to study what I want; now that I’m working. Super awesome…more books coming soon.

Well, 10 years ago I used a beautiful browser named Netscape. In the late 90s I switched to a better browser named Internet Explorer because lets face it, it was doing quite well.

Late night TSN is awesome. Yesterday was Polo…today is Table Tennis.

At first I thought I was getting random calls but they were all long distance and people thought they were getting

I just talked to Kyle and he was telling me about expensive places to call and ‘Ascension Island’ in the South Pacific happens to be one of them.

It’s a small place of around 1,101 people and it serves a variety of purposes.

You can find out more here: http://www.ascension-island.gov.ac/.

Oh yeah, it costs 40 Euro cents per minute 😉

I know I haven’t updated in a few days and I’m doing so right now just prior to bed.

I’ve been working away at work, still learning things but getting there…hope to get a lot done this week.

Nights have been busy…and there’s been more work at those times.

I don’t have very much free time however, the following comment is important enough to take a little time out: Can we please stop talking about Ms. Spears?.

Seriously, I don’t care if she got married, it doesn’t affect anybody important…I

Those who are looking for me wondering why Warp Pipe is down: our hosts are down temporarily but will be back up soon.

Stefanus Du Toit has co-authored a book with Michael McCool.

Slashdot details: here.

The book is about Sh as a Shader language for GPU’s. I haven’t been able to get full details on it but I think the particle stream might be included as an implementation.

Just doing some updates at work and got a bit of spare time when both computers were occupied with compiling and so forth.
Anyhow, I feel that at this particular junction in time…Romania is the best place to download a copy of Opera from. What does you think?
