So Saddam Hussein is gone and the world is supposedly a safer place but did anybody stop and think about Roman Danylo?
Roman, as you may not know, is a comedian who has several trademark characters that he (poorly but comedically, well, his Tom Cruise is pretty good) portrays in his comedy routines on Comedy Inc.. One of his characters is (or should I say 'was'?) Saddam Hussein and a gang of Saddam impersonators. Saddam and his impersonators have a variety of professions including talk show hosts and restaurant operators.
To imagine that Roman will now be left with a gaping hole in his repetoire that can only be filled by the portrayal (I demand a poor portrayal) of another dictator is hard to imagine. Even harder to imagine is what he'll fill that hole with as I'm pretty sure there's no way he can do a Kim Jong Ill…he's not that talented.
So I ask you Mr. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki (of Iraq), what's Roman to do now? Politics.
