Sony does not have a firmware upgrade for this Camera. Regretfully, Camera components are not upgradable by simply adding a few chips or external devices, like a PC. Electronic technology will change year after year as new technologies are discovered and developed.

Unfortunately, our engineering data is proprietary and marketing strategies are instrumental to our success and as such are confidential. We cannot share them, either past or present, with anyone outside of our company.
