just got back from the plane ride thingy (couldn’t cancel)…I was pretty sick before getting on the flight and today being a nice hot day meant lots of thermals.

A thermal is an ascending piece of warm->hot air. It usually forms over land and descends over lakes and forests. The problem with thermals is that they push planes up and down like mad. Which meant lots of turbulence.

The scenery was spectaculaaaaarrrr (will post some pix) and the ride was very bumpy. Our pilot was great (Colin Lipowitz) and methinks he got bored flying around UW.

Anyways…I’m pretty sick now but getting better and I’ll do what I can do to keep moving…back to work.
